The new products include: - Mounting kits for the GE panel/MCCB configurations, including: AV1/TB63 and TB83; AVI/SGLA; APNB/TQD; and APNB/TEY - Mounting kits for Cutler-Hammer panel/MCCB configurations, including: CDP/MD and HMD; and CDP/ND and HND - Mounting kits for Siemens panel/MCCB configurations, including: S-4/JD and HJD; and S-4/LD and HLD MCCB mounting kits are used to mount molded-case breakers into new or existing switchboards as part of addition, retrofit or replacement operation, giving customers the freedom to choose separate breaker and switchboard vendors and models while saving money by avoiding a complete switchboard replacement. ROMAC HRC has been manufacturing MCCB and panel switch mounting kits since 1977. Today, ROMAC HRC stocks more than 60 MCCB and panel switch mounting kits, including kits for the most common MCCBs from Cutler-Hammer/Westinghouse, GE, Siemens, and Square D with ratings between 250 and 1200 Amps. “Typically, when someone tries to buy a mounting hardware kit from one of the major manufacturers, they’re met with long lead times and comparatively high pricing,” explains Craig Peters National Sales Manager for ROMAC. “ROMAC HRC stocks mounting kits for immediate shipping and at considerably lower prices than the OEMs. And the kits are built to a higher standard than most OEM kits using high quality materials and better protective shipping materials. We will also build custom kits for mounting one manufacturer’s breaker into another manufacturer’s switchboard.” ROMAC HRC hardware mounting kits and EZCan™ line of UL-listed universal enclosures are sold through ROMAC’s nationwide network of dealers and distributors.
